America is about the middle ground. It’s where we meet, exchange ideas, perspectives, and learn about each other. It’s where we compromise and respect the rights and views of those across the aisle. It’s where you run a nation from – because neither side has a monopoly of being “right”. Nor does one perspective have the right to completely ignore the views of their counterparts.
The middle ground is where we debate the topics with respect for one another as human beings – but let’s keep to the facts. While our emotions are important, lets not them be what rules us.
This is my hope, that we pull the extremists in our government and in our society to the middle where we get things done.
